Who can apply for the Community Account?

Not for profit clubs and associations such as sporting groups, charities and schools, and government groups

How much interest can I earn?

The more money you have in your account, the more interest you can earn. Our interest rates are tiered according to your account balance.

How often is interest calculated?

Interest is calculated on your account balance on a daily basis and paid tri-annually.

What is the eligibility criteria?

  • You must be a not for profit organization or community group
  • You will need to provide a copy of governing documents such as Memorandum and Articles of Association or constituting stating ‘Not for profit’ status
  • ATO income tax exemption certificate

What sorts of transactions can I perform via Internet Banking?

Our Internet Banking for business is easy to access, simple to use with loads of features to help you manage your accounts online, including;

  • Multiple payments to payroll or bill payments
  • Multi user transaction authorisation and privilege delegation
  • View your current account balances
  • View your transaction history
  • Print out and download your transaction history to an accounting package or database
  • Obtain details of interest earned and charged
  • Record or change payment authorities
  • Arrange the transfer of funds between your accounts
  • Make regular or one off payments to suppliers
  • Transfer funds to accounts at other financial institutions

How can the Community Account help to manage my payroll?

Payroll can be conveniently managed using Community First internet banking. Internet banking provides you with one, easy to manage view including a number of functionalities to make your payroll simple.
